Played a few games on various maps (including my worst offender: Crash) and no stutters except for the initial stutters shortly after match-start. CPU and HDD usage both can peak to 100% at the start of the match but usually drop to normal levels afterwards. Game runs at max settings at 91 FPS almost all the times now. Gamers will have to wait and see.Originally posted by Tachi:OK, conducted some testing with the game on my SSHD (or just a regular HDD for you guys): With Call of Duty: WWII’s release date of November 3rd inching closer and closer, PC gamers are wondering if this will be the one that breaks Activision’s terrible PC port streak. Seeing how little support the PC version has received since launch, its just been adding fuel to the negative view of Activision. There seems to be a common perception among PC gamers that publisher Activision is more focused on making great console games while treating PC ports as an afterthought.

This release comes as a serious disappointment to many fans who were excited to hear about the remaster ever since it was first announced a year ago.

One reviewer, Blazeris The Cat, wrote:Īt this point, I’m just gonna stick with the original COD4, where that game still has the great netcode and just really good nostaliga feel. Some users on Steam have complained that not only does the remaster do very little to improve on the original Modern Warfare, but all the additional performance issues actually make it worse. Factor in the flagrant hacking in multiplayer matches, and the game just isn’t worth the asking price.

On top of that, the PC port suffers from various performance issues, such as terrible framerate issues and unintuitive controls. Players have been complaining about the price of 35 pounds ($40) being too high for a remaster that’s already a year old. Overall, Modern Warfare Remastered has received a mostly negative user review rating.
